Tonight the MCDH Board of Directors unanimously approved moving forward with the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) designation.  Timeline to implementation is approximately 3 months, depending largely on timing of state inspections.  The Board also indicated that the ambulance service will stay within the hospital if CAH conversion goes according to plan.
